NEW YORK- Diverse City Theater Company ("DCT") announces its partnership with Financial Services Industry Exchange ("FSIX"), the leading global networking and professional services organization specifically for gay and lesbian financial services professionals, with a special command performance of DCT's "FOUR PLAYS: The Equality Playwrights Festival" ("EPF") on Wednesday, August 23rd at 7PM.

FSIX Board Member Edward Jacobs commented: "Community partnership is one of our organization's core values. We are proud to support Diverse City Theater and its mission to promote art and awareness, diversity and multiculturalism in the theater by developing and producing content that tackle tough social issues today. Their efforts are ground-breaking."

Founded in 1983 as the New York Bankers Group, FSIX is dedicated to creating a fun, friendly networking environment to foster LGBT equality in the financial services industry by partnering with major organizations and LGBT community groups.

"We are very proud of this association with FSIX. Their support for DCT is testament to their leadership in the community," said actor Victor Lirio, DCT's Chief Artistic & Producing Officer.

EPF is currently playing for a limited run at Theatre Row's Harold Clurman Theatre located at 410 West 42nd Street until August 26, 2006. Tickets for The Equality Playwrights Festival can be purchased by calling Ticket Central at 212-279-4200 or www.ticketcentral.com.

Diverse City Theater's Equality Playwrights Festival is made possible due, in part, to the generous support from Disney Foundation's Cast Community Fund, Financial Services Industry Exchange, The Guild Family Foundation and strong commitment from CD101.9FM, D2 Studios Inc., Interep and Scharff Weisberg.
